This project was something I went back on and updated. The result did not turn out great, but the illustrations were great, so I went back and developed them more.
I was having trouble with creating my own typeface, and could not understand how to create a unique typeface in a grid of boxes. So to help me understand what I would want to do, I created illustrations of some of the better sketches I made.
Using the illustrations as a guide I then mapped out a letter. After that, I took the key component of what made that concept and repeated it on the other letters.
